Hot-casting polyurethane is an excellent alternative to rubber and hard plastic and a valid anti-abrasion solution. Abrasion is a loss of material that occurs on the surface of the manufactured material when it comes into contact with chemical-physical forces. Abrasion can be caused by rubbing or collision with particles.
In the industrial world, anti-abrasion solutions are sought in the mining sector (augers, screening nets, conveyor belts), paper sector (mist-separating cyclones) and in thermoelectric power plants (hydrocyclones and coated pumps).
