The chemical separation of different elements takes place using high concentration acids able to dissolve steel as well as many plastic materials. Hot-casting polyurethane can be used optimally in the chemical industry compared to other polymers because it resists corrosion and mechanical stress.
The antacid polyurethane compounds formulated by Politec offer resistance to acids from pH 0 to pH 14 with concentrations up to 30%, maintaining good mechanical characteristics.
